This Double Chocolate Protein Cookie is so good, you will be amazed that it is healthy!
This is a great snack or dessert option if you are craving something sweet, but want it to be healthy. You could even have this cookie for breakfast because it covers all of the macronutrients you need for a well-rounded meal!
This cookie is high in fiber due to the oat flour, which is great for your gut and will help you feel fuller for longer. It is also high in protein because it contains protein powder, which is necessary for building and maintaining muscle. I like to drizzle peanut butter on top for a healthy fat, and because I love the combination of chocolate and peanut butter! The combination of fiber filled carb, protein and fat makes this cookie a healthy, satisfying snack or dessert!


Double Chocolate Protein Cookie
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup oats
- 1 serving protein powder
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1 tbsp sweetener (ex. stevia, monkfruit, maple syrup)
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- pinch of salt
- 1/2 cup almond milk
- 2 tbsp chocolate chips
Instructions
- Blend oats into oat flour. Add all dry ingredients to a bowl and mix well.
- Add a splash of almond milk at a time, stirring well after each addition until you get a very thick dough. Fold in chocolate chips.
- Air fry or bake at 350F for 3-5 minutes, and enjoy! You may need to bake it for a few extra minutes if you bake it in the oven.
