This Edible Cookie Dough is the perfect high protein snack or dessert! It’s a perfect option for when you have a sweet craving, but still want something that is healthy and will keep you satisfied. I’ve been making this recipe for over a year and still love it!

I always try to focus on eating a source of protein at every meal, even my snacks! I have found that eating high protein meals keeps me fuller for longer, reduces cravings, and helps me look my best. But, I also love food that TASTES GOOD!
I have found that the easiest way to consistently eat healthy is to make healthier versions of the foods that I love so I can eat them everyday and still feel good and hit my goals. Of course I still eat ‘unhealthy’ food once in a while, but I really don’t crave it anymore!
This high protein cookie dough ACTUALLY tastes good, has 30g of protein, and the delicious thick cookie dough texture that I love. The key to making perfect high protein cookie dough is to use a good quality protein powder, it makes all the difference in the taste and texture!
MY FAVORITE PROTEIN POWDER

INGREDIENTS FOR HIGH PROTEIN COOKIE DOUGH
- Oats: I make my own oat flour by blending oats into a flour texture. I love using oat flour because it is high in fiber!

- Sweetener: You can use maple syrup, honey, or a sugar-free alternative like monk fruit or stevia!
- Salt: Adding a pinch of salt brings out the sweetness for the perfect cookie dough taste!
- Baking soda: It sounds crazy but adding a pinch of baking soda gives it the true cookie dough flavor. Try it out!
- Milk or water: You can use any type of milk you like, including plant-based milk! You can also use water, the texture will just be a little less creamy.
- Chocolate chips: You can’t have cookie dough without chocolate chips! I like to use dark chocolate chips, but you can also use low-sugar chocolate chips for a lower calorie option.

High Protein Edible Cookie Dough
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup oats
- 1 serving vanilla protein powder
- 1 tbsp sweetener of choice
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup milk of choice (you may need up to 1/3 cup)
- 1 tbsp chocolate chips
Instructions
- Add oats to a blender and blend into a fine flour consistency.
- Add oat flour to a bowl with vanilla protein powder, sweetener, baking soda and salt.
- Mix the dry ingredients, then add a splash of milk at a time stirring after each addition until you have a thick cookie dough consistency. You will probably need between 1/4-1/3 cup depending on your protein powder.
- Stir in chocolate chips, then enjoy right away or store in the fridge for up to 5 days!
