If you have a sweet tooth but want a healthier option, this Snickers Fro-Yo is the perfect snack to make!
This fro-yo style yogurt cup has been having a moment on social media, so I had to try it out for myself to see what all the hype was about. Let me tell you, there is a reason everyone is making this… it’s delicious! While of course it doesn’t taste exactly like frozen yogurt, the taste and texture is pretty close for a healthier swap.
I’ve been loving having this after dinner when I’m craving something sweet & salty. I love how easy this is to make, and it has 25g of protein in it! Since it’s full of protein, this snack will keep you feeling full and satisfied, and honestly its so much fun to crack open and eat!

So here’s what you need to make it:
- A small greek yogurt cup: You can use plain or vanilla – I do plain because the protein powder adds sweetness
- Protein powder: My favorite protein powder is Promix Vanilla Whey. For this recipe I used Promix French Vanilla Collagen Peptides and I loved it! Collagen is great for your hair, skin and nails so I love any opportunity to sneak collagen into my meals. You can use my discount code CLAIRE for 15% off your Promix order!
- Peanut butter: I always go for natural peanut butter, look for one where the ingredients are just peanuts and salt.
- Dark chocolate chips: I’m not too picky with these, I just love dark chocolate so I try to get 75% or darker!
- Coconut oil: This makes the melted chocolate smooth & shiny, and also helps the chocolate shell crack a little easier
- Crushed peanuts: To give that Snicker’s crunch
- Sea salt: Dark chocolate + sea salt is a match made in heaven, I always add a pinch
I have seen people get really creative with other flavors too, so if you aren’t a Snickers fan you can create a new flavor! Next up I want to try this with almond butter, so if you aren’t a fan of peanuts try that!

- 1 tbsp peanut butter
- 1 tbsp dark chocolate chips

Instructions
- Stir half a scoop of protein powder to the greek yogurt. Smooth out the top as best as you can.
- Spread peanut butter over the top of the yogurt.
- Melt chocolate chips and coconut oil in the microwave for about 20-30 seconds. Stir until smooth, then drizzle over the peanut butter and gently smooth the top.
