Did you know how easy it is to make your own oat milk?
All you need is oats and water! I also add a pinch of sea salt, a splash of vanilla, and a little sweetener to make it even better.
It only takes a few minute to make, you just put everything in a blender, blend it for 15 seconds, strain it, and enjoy!
So why should you make your own oat milk at home? Homemade oat milk is not only cheaper than store-bought oat milk, but it is so much healthier!
Many store-bought plant based milks are full of additives, fillers, gums and chemicals that are not great for your body. They are often over-processed, and we don’t know exactly what is in them or how they are made. By making your own oat milk, you know exactly what is in it, and know that it is good for your body!
I love using oat milk in my iced coffee, smoothies, or poured over granola. This recipe makes 1 cup of oat milk, so you can try it out if you have never made it before! If you want to make more, just multiply the recipe! You can store it in the fridge for about a week.
